Shadow to Light is a series of fine-art black and white photographs made in the American Southwest. Rooted in minimalism, the work explores shape, tone, and negative space, where light becomes the primary subject and shadow its essential counterpart. In dunes, canyons, salt flats, and sculpted sandstone, the landscape shifts between abstraction and place, revealing how form is carved not only by geology, but by illumination.
